How many visitors do you get to visit you at your place of business each day? Now how many visitors do you get to visit your website each day? Your website is the face of your company whether you think so or not. Just as the awning and window signs of a storefront speak for the company when nobody is there to speak for it, so is your website. In fact, your website is accessible from anywhere in the world at any time of the day whether you’re open for business or not. In other words, your web traffic should far exceed that of your physical traffic.

Adopting our mindset for maximum conversions, you must think of your website as the central hub of your business. It is here, and only here, that we can collect raw data, create automated responses and outgoing marketing materials, or adapt our message to the needs of the market as frequently as we’d like and within the fewest constraints. Also, it’s private and quiet. As intimate an interaction as you can hope for on the internet. Perhaps you do well on social media, but there you do not own your audience. The platform does. On your domain, you and your visitor are having a 1-on-1 interaction with no competition or distractions pulling them away from you.

Think of your website as a living thing. One that is born and grows up slowly with periodic growth spurts, even the occasional setback every so often, adapting with its environment and its users. Your website, and in turn, you and your brand, will learn from these experiences, all the while acting as a symbiotic partners of each other. If one grows, so does the other. If one is doing well, so too will the other. Adversely, if one is suffering, the other will too…don’t let that happen.
